First of all, in behalf of everyone at Microsoft Philippines, I would like to congratuate dB Wizards for the great work you have been doing these past 10 years. We are proud to be considered one of your partners. In fact, we have another reason to celebrate - this year, we are also making the tenth year of our partnership with dB Wizards.
As you know, key relationships, key relationships like this play a significant role in how Microsoft conducts business anywhere in the world. We attribute our achievements to the invaluable support given to us by our partners. In the same way, we believe that your accomplishments also help us become successful.
dB wizards became a Microsoft certified partner in 1999 and since then, the company has grown and received numerous distinctions that attest to its world-class capabilities.
I hope that you will allow me to quickly mention some of its notable achievements:
dB Wizards has earned Microsoft Gold certifications in 8 competencies that range from learning and business solutions, to advance infrastructure solutions. It has also been consistently awarded as a Microsoft partner of the year, most recently receiving the systems integrator of the year and Microsoft certified partner for learning solutions of the year awards in 2008.
I think we should also point out that dB Wizards is the first company to be recognized as a gold certified partner for learning solutions in Southeast Asia and the first gold certified partner for business intelligence and information worker in the Philippines.
So what do all of these awards tell us about dB Wizards? Simply that the company delivers and is breaking new ground in developing critical solutions required by today’s businesses. We’re very happy that they’re using Microsoft products to achieve these.
But i would also like to point out that more than just establishing itself in the global market, dB Wizards has demonstrated the competitiveness of Filipino software companies.
This is particularly relevant in this time of economic uncertainty. To help Filipinos firms remain competitive, we have a partner program that allows us to engage db wizards and other I.T. Companies in activities that provide training and marketing opportunities that enhance competencies and broaden market reach and access. Together with these organizations, we are working to continuously support our local software economy and ensure that it is a vibrant and progressing industry.
It is an honor to have such a close and strong alliance with the dB Wizards family, and we’re confident that we will continue to develop new projects and tools that empower people and organizations.
